When Purpose Feels Bigger Than You

📖 Scripture

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

— 2 Corinthians 5:7

There comes a point in the journey where purpose stops feeling exciting and starts feeling heavy.

Not because it’s wrong — but because it’s real.

Walking in purpose isn’t always about clarity or confidence. Sometimes it’s about obedience when the path ahead still feels unfinished. It’s choosing to move forward even when the outcome is unclear, trusting that God sees what we cannot.

There have been seasons where I questioned whether I was truly walking in purpose or just surviving. Seasons where progress felt slow, doors seemed quiet, and faith required more trust than reassurance. But God has been teaching me that purpose isn’t proven by momentum — it’s revealed through faithfulness.

Purpose doesn’t always come with confirmation. Often, it comes with a simple invitation: keep walking.

Walking in purpose means trusting God beyond what makes sense. It means believing that even when the vision feels incomplete, the calling is still intact. Faith fills in the gaps where sight falls short.

God never asks us to understand the entire plan — only to follow Him step by step. And with each obedient step, purpose unfolds not all at once, but gradually, gently, and right on time.

If you’re in a season where purpose feels heavy or uncertain, take heart. You’re not lost — you’re being led. The same God who placed purpose within you is faithful to guide you through it.

You don’t need to see the whole road.

You just need to trust the One who walks it with you.

Father God, help me to walk by faith when sight is limited. Strengthen my trust in You when purpose feels unclear or heavy. Teach me to follow You one step at a time, knowing that You are leading me exactly where I need to be. I surrender my plans, my timing, and my expectations to You.
