💎 Day 5| Strength in Weakness
If this season of my life has taught me anything, it’s that weakness isn’t something to hide — it’s something God can use.
After my recent medical emergency, I felt fragile in every way: physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I didn’t feel strong. I felt dependent. And for a while, I thought that meant I was failing somehow — like I wasn’t being “faithful enough.”
But God has been gently reminding me: it’s okay to be weak when you’re held by strength that never fails.
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’” – 2 Corinthians 12:9
Those words have come alive for me in this season. I’ve realized that the moments when I’ve had nothing left to give are the ones where I’ve seen His grace most clearly. When my memory slips, when I get tired easily, or when fear tries to creep in — His presence meets me right there.
There’s something beautiful about letting go of the pressure to “be strong.” When we surrender that, we make room for His strength to carry us.
Maybe that’s why Paul could boast in his weakness — not because he loved suffering, but because he had discovered something deeper: that every place he felt broken was a place where God’s power could shine.
So today, if you feel weak — emotionally, spiritually, or physically — take heart. Your weakness doesn’t disqualify you. It connects you to the One who never runs out of strength.
“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.” – Psalm 28:7
💭 Reflection
Where in your life do you feel weak right now? How can you lean into God’s strength instead of trying to carry it alone?
🙏🏽 Prayer
Lord, thank You for meeting me in my weakness. Help me to stop striving and start resting in Your strength. When I feel small, remind me that You are mighty. When I feel empty, fill me with Your peace. Let Your power be made perfect in my weakness, and let my life reflect Your strength. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
