💎 Day 14| Obedience Over Understanding

Sometimes God calls us to move before we understand why.

There have been moments in my journey when His direction didn’t make sense. Times when I felt unsure, unqualified, or unprepared. Times when all I wanted was clarity — and all He gave me was a quiet nudge that said, “Trust Me.”

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

– Proverbs 3:5–6

Obedience isn’t always easy. It means saying “yes” even when it’s uncomfortable, even when the outcome isn’t clear. But every time I’ve stepped in faith — whether sharing my story, letting go of control, or walking in healing — God has proven faithful.

Understanding comes in pieces. Obedience comes in steps.

And sometimes, the miracle isn’t in the answer — it’s in the act of trusting.

When we obey God without fully understanding, we’re saying, “Lord, I trust Your wisdom more than my logic. I trust Your timing more than my plans.”

That kind of faith moves mountains.

“Blessed are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

– Luke 11:28

Obedience isn’t about perfection — it’s about surrender. It’s believing that God sees the full picture, even when all we can see are fragments.

And the beautiful part? Every act of obedience — big or small — draws us closer to His purpose for our lives.

What is God asking you to do right now that feels uncertain or uncomfortable? How can you choose obedience today, even if you don’t have full understanding?

Lord, thank You for leading me, even when I don’t see the full plan. Help me to trust You more than my fears, and to walk in obedience, knowing You never lead me astray. Strengthen my faith so that I can follow You with courage, confidence, and peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
