A Continued Walk of Grace– Series II

From the very beginning, God designed your life with intention. Ephesians 2:10 tells us that we are His workmanship — hand-crafted, shaped, formed, and prepared for good works long before we ever took our first breath. Nothing about your story has ever been random.

For a long time, I struggled to believe that.

I compared my timeline to everyone else’s and quietly wondered if purpose had somehow passed me by. But God reminded me that comparison is the thief of calling. He doesn’t write duplicate assignments. He gives each of us a path that fits the story He is developing within us.

Everything shifted when I finally prayed:

“Lord, what do You want to do through me right here — right where I am?”

Suddenly, moments I overlooked became sacred.

Conversations became assignments.

Everyday interactions became opportunities for God to work through me in small but meaningful ways.

Purpose isn’t about being seen — it’s about being surrendered.

When we give God our ordinary days, He turns them into extraordinary impact.

The more I leaned into Him, the more I realized that purpose doesn’t show up with fireworks. It often comes disguised as quiet nudges — the kind you can only hear when life slows down long enough for your spirit to breathe again.

That’s exactly where God found me recently… in the quiet.

After everything I’ve walked through, after rebuilding my relationship with Him, after facing a health scare that shook me awake — I finally understood that purpose doesn’t begin when everything is perfect. Purpose begins when your heart becomes willing.

There was a stretch of time where I felt behind, like everyone else had found their place in the world while I was still trying to put the pieces of myself back together. But God kept whispering that He wasn’t asking me to catch up — He was asking me to come close.

And when I did, I learned something I wish I had known sooner:

Purpose doesn’t wait on confidence — it waits on surrender.

It doesn’t require clarity — just willingness.

It doesn’t start “one day” — it starts today.

As I sat with God, I began seeing my life differently.

Things I once dismissed started to feel intentional.

The desires in my heart that I thought were random were actually planted by Him for this very season.

Even this blog — this space He told me to build in one of the hardest months of my life — became proof that He uses everything… even the moments we thought were wasted.

Walking in purpose isn’t about moving fast.

It’s about moving faithfully.

Some days that looks big.

Most days it looks small.

But obedience — even quiet obedience — always carries weight in the Kingdom.

And if you’re reading this, you need to know:

God hasn’t forgotten about your purpose either.

You aren’t behind.

You aren’t disqualified.

You aren’t starting too late.

Your story is right on time because He’s the One writing it.

This is Day 1.

A new beginning.

A fresh step forward.

A reminder that you were created on purpose… and for purpose.

Father, thank You for designing me with intention.

Help me trust that my life matters in Your plan — even in the quiet, unseen moments.

Teach me to walk boldly in the purpose You’ve prepared for me.
